Line Bender creates puzzles using a concept introduced by one of the world's most influential Mathematicians, Fourier.

The concept is simple: anything can be drawn by combining an infinite number of spinning circles.

Line Bender is my submission to the GMTK 2021 Game Jam.  Find solutions to the line bending puzzles using segments that are joined together.

I really like this as a tool to show off Fourier curves! I think I would better understand how the numbers affect the end result if I could see the curve on every attempt, not just once I got the ball. It was hard to hold in my head what my last attempt looked like.

Good work!

That's awesome, I'm glad you enjoyed the game.  And thank you for sharing your feedback!

Eventually, I plan to turn this into a mobile game.  I'll keep in mind your idea about historical curves.

its fun to watch the ball swing around

kinda confusing, I still cant get past second level, you need  tutorial.

Hi there, the second level shouldn't be too rough.  Try decrementing the counter to -1.

oh I see. I though I could only do one and zero

Didn't really understand anything except that even numbers are bad, but other than that pretty solid entry.

Haha thank you, and that is an interesting observation!

I don't want to say too much because it might spoil the opportunity for other people to make discoveries, but that is certainly an interesting observation.
