General Command
General Command pits two armies against each other on a battlefield. Control your units, and find weak points in the enemy battle lines. The AI uses a combination of confidence and aggression, which you can modify for custom battles. Feel free to pit two AIs against each other and watch a battle unfold.
I did not implement the graphics for when infantry or cavalry are attacking each other. They will engage the closest unit possible. Infantry has range equal to its size, and cavalry has range equal to half its size, but has a higher chance of landing a hit on its enemy.
Hardware Note: Older computers shouldn't give the computer more than a total of 7 infantry + cavalry units, otherwise the calculations can take a while to finish.
Developer Note: I had been working on this game for a couple of months, but I stopped because I could not convince myself that enough people would be interested in this type of game to justify spending the next year developing it. If you enjoy this game, leave a comment -- a few good comments can be just enough for me to believe that this game has potential.
